ECT was founded by Robert Allebaugh and Joe Guehring in June 1998 with the sole mission of providing the highest quality instrumentation lines for Environmental Health and safety monitoring. With over 40 years of combined experience, ECT sales professionals have the expertise and training to guide our customers to the best possible technology solution. ECT has, as its core, the value of providing our customers the highest quality solutions and customer service. Since 1998, ECT has grown from HQ in St. Louis, MO to offices in Tulsa, Ok and soon Kansas City.
The ECT Team
Joe Guehring, President Joe Guehring, President of ECT, started his career in environmental health and safety (EHS) monitoring in 1988: first with a distributor, then as a global product director specializing in fixed gas detection systems for Industrial Scientific Corporation. In 1998 he founded ECT as a manufacturing representative organization. Joe has spent the last 22 years working on CEMs (mercury) and process health and safety monitoring technologies.
Bob Gusnard, Regional Sales Manager Bob Gusnard spent several years in the EHS field in the early 1990’s working for a distributor and returned to the industry in 2004 by opening a Tulsa, OK office for ECT. In less than 6 years he has helped ECT more than double its geographical territory and continues to grow his technical expertise in CEMS and process applications.
Chris Gugler, Territory Manager Chris joined the team in 2011 as a Territory Manager representing all ECT products and services in western Missouri, northern Kansas, Nebraska and western Iowa. Chris will be responsible for sales and customer support in the region. Prior to joining ECT Chris has spent 5 years in the working the process industrial and water/wastewater instrumentation market.
As the demand for quality instrumentation and process monitoring instrumentation increases ECT continues to be at the forefront in providing excellence in products and services to the market.
